Symptoms Of Ringworm

Question about a kitten?
Okay, so my mom, my brother and I are going to adopt a kitten. We already visited an animal shelter and chose which one we want (a 9 week old girl). One of her siblings has ringworm. They immediatley separated the kittens from the sick one, and the other kittens are getting tests for it, but I’m worried because we are so excited for her to come home. She doesn’t have any symptoms for ringworm, but her and her sister have a teeny bit of irritation on their noses. It isn’t noticable, and we are hoping that its just a rash (they just started drinking and eating out of food and water bowls) from brushing their noses up against food. What likelyhood do you think it is that she has ringworm? And if she does, what can it do to her?
While ringworm isn’t harmful, it’s highly contagious. We had adopted a stray kitten once, and he had ringworm, and then we all got it, including our other cats. Ringworm isn’t a worm, like it sounds; it’s a fungus. It’s as easy to treat as it is to get. Creams for fungus like athlete’s foot work for ringworm, on animals and humans. You just rub in the cream every day, and the ringworm is gone. Ringworm looks like a little circle, or ring, of irritation on the skin. Since you can’t see animal’s skin cuz of the fur, you can tell when the fur falls out. The irritation on their noses is most likely ringworm.
Oh, and BTW, if ringworm breaks out, make sure to wash everything often to make sure the fungus doesn’t keep coming back. It is once again highly contagious, and hard to keep at bay when a ringworm outbreak occurs.
